Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival - 2005
My brother and I went to Road America in Wisconsin this weekend as part of the "crew" for three racers. This is an incredible racing event, but extremely underattended. I had a blast!

Shocking CNN Images
Just saw some pictures of dead bodies inside the Super Dome in N.O. on Larry King. It's appauling what people do to each other. Some Senate geek said there would be an investigation for why the security was so lax. I just wonder why there isn't appropriate attention being put on the reprehensible behaviour of people that would engage in such heinous acts?
Don't get me wrong. The delay in the relief effort is baffling. Clearly the city of N.O. and the state of Louisiana were totally unprepared for such a disaster. Clearly FEMA goofed. Clearly the local, state and federal government's errors cost lives. It's a tragedy.
Just as tragic is the human condition by which a U.S. city can resemble a 3rd world country in a matter of 24 hours with the breakdown of law enforcement.
It gives one pause when considering a similar breakdown in any of our major cities. Can you imagine what Chicago would become? Or LA?
