I went to confession about 2 months ago. It had been over 20 years and I had alot of transgressions to unload. The effect at the time was amazing and I felt as though a ton of bricks had been lifted from my chest.
I actually went for several weeks in a row after that first time, but then a culmination of things stopped that and once again I've stopped going to church and feel again like I am animated dog vomit, human scum, and a boil on satin's ass.
On a brighter note, I found a place to get extremely cold beer.
