Robin on ice
I always thought robins flew south for the winter. We don't see them around our house anyway. On my walk I found a bunch of them sunning themselves in trees along the DuPage river.
Which reminds me, when I was in fifth grade, our principal had the janitor bring in and show us a bird that had frozen to death to prove how cold it was outside. I don't know how I feel about that, in fact I don't remember how I felt about it then, but I suppose they made their point.
